Okay so I've noticed a lot of people are having trouble with downloading pose player and then getting it to install / work in their sims 3 game so this is why I have created this page is to show those people step by step on how to get pose player working.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(1) first you need to download an extracting program such as Winzip Winrar or 7zip you can find them by googling which ever program you want to use, personally I prefer 7zip as its so easy to use.
(2) Once you have downloaded your extracting program you need to download the following file http://www.mediafire.com/?5lxave6vo8zut0j <------ that file is just simply the frameworksetup file which is going to create the folders that you need for Pose Player and other package files.
(3) After you've downloaded the frameworksetup file you need to extract it using the extracting program you've just downloaded and then extract the file into "Documents" "Electronic Arts" & "Sims3" after doing this is should have created a Mods folder which inside it should contain a "Overrides" folder, a "Packages" folder and then underneath a file that's called Resource.cfg.
(4) Once you have the folders & the file in place you need to go to Mod The Sims, create a free account and then download Pose Player and the PoseListKit which is found http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=438706 <--- here
(5) Then once both Pose Player & PoserListKit have finished downloading, you need to use your extracting program to extract your downloaded files but you need to extract them to "Documents" "Electronic Arts" "Sims 3" and then into the "Packages" folder which will be in the mods folder that you had just created.
(6) After you have extracted the Pose Player & PoseListKit into your "Packages" folder you then have several files they are called "PoseBoxFlareGenerator" "How To" "cmoPoseBoxFlare.dll" "cmomoney_PosePlayer" "nointro" "nobuildsparkles" and last but not least PoseListTemplate.
(7) Out of those several files 4 of the need to stay into your "packages" folder those four are (Poselisttemplate, Nobuildsparkles, nointro & poser player) the other 3 which are (Poseboxflaregenerator, how to & cmoposeboxflare.dll) are to be cut and pasted outside of your "mods" folder and just into your "sims3" folder.
(8) Once all that is done it is time to to go to mod the sims and download some poses, which once are downloaded are also to be extracted into you "Packages" folder which is found in "Documents" "Electronic Arts" "Sims3" "Mods".
(9) Once you have downloaded and extracted your poses load up you game as you normally you, you'll notice that it doesn't do the introduction anymore due to the the fact that you've got the "NoIntro" mod installed. Once games loads up and you reach the area where you load your saved games you should have something come up that will say "Mod Scripts Found" and it will have Pose Player listed + the poses that you have also downloaded.
(10) Once your game is loaded and your playing, head into "Buy Mode" "Decorations and "Misc" which is where you'll see that you'll be able to buy Pose Player for $1 and put it anywhere in the house or on your lot.
(1) Last but not least once you have purchased your pose player and have placed it into your game, click on pose player then choose the option "Pose From My List" and wella from there on your sims should be able to use poser player and pose the poses that you have downloaded.
